Our neighbor, Woody’s Ice Cream & Coffee, officially opened in July! The grand opening was a huge success, and it's all thanks to the support from Cromwell’s mayor’s office, the community, Woody’s staff, and all who came out to celebrate with us. Woody and Jessica would like to extend special thanks to all who made this day possible—from our amazing staff who worked tirelessly to our supportive community who made us feel so welcome. You all made this day one to remember!
Woody Dudley, the lively owner of this new venture, has always dreamed of running his own business. His wife, Jessica, who runs Jessica’s Color Room Salon next door, encouraged him to pursue it, knowing his extroverted personality was perfect for the role.
After years as a corporate inspector, Woody longed for a more fulfilling path where he could connect with people and share his love for coffee, ice cream, and hospitality. When the opportunity arose, he jumped at it.
“I’ve always loved being around people and making them smile. Opening this shop is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone in!” Woody says.
